GREECE PART II - CRETE AND SANTORINI

Two days later we went to Crete, the largest island of Greece but also a really peaceful place. We stayed at Mália, a city in the east of Crete not far from the airport (Heraklion) but had to rent a car because public transports are not the best option. 
To end on a high note we decided to do a one-day trip to Santorini - a dreamy island characterized by its whitewashed villages and inky waters. I guess the pictures say it all!

SUMMER FESTIVALS - PALEO

Paléo Festival is one of the most important musical event in Switzerland and the second biggest festival in Europe. Everything started in 1976 (almost 40 years ago) in Geneva but the festival is now held in Nyon a small town close to Lausanne (around 20 minutes by train).
We went to see The National and Placebo on Sunday and were really blessed with the weather, especially because it rained the whole week!

TRAVELS - PARIS

Since I don't have holidays in August (September will always be my favorite month) me and my sister decided to go to Paris for a long weekend. It was not my first time in the city of lights but there's always new things to see and do there. 
I took the opportunity to finally visit the Louvre, to show some famous places to my sister (she was only 8 years old last time she went to Paris) and to chill out by the Seine. Oh, and I almost forgot, I finally tried Big Fernand's delicious burgers!! If you're planning to visit Paris you can't miss them, they are to die for!


We'll always have Paris.

I did this photo shoot with Eva from Bruchez Photography a few weeks ago and I must confess that I was a bit scared because my first time in a studio didn't go so well. However, I felt way more comfortable this time as Eva and her boyfriend Jean-Marc put me at ease and I couldn't be happier with the results! They did two different sets: color and black & white (hollywood style) and they are currently looking for more persons to enlarge their portfolio so if you live in Lausanne (or nearby) feel free to contact them via their website or facebook.

Fashion Week S/S 2015 shows started right when I was enjoying my holidays so I didn't pay much attention to them, however this D&G collection really caught my eye!

TRAVELS - MONACO & COTE D'AZUR

I'm getting back into the swing of my routine but had to share some pictures from my South of France road trip with you. We started the journey with Monaco, stayed 2 nights in Nice (I was a bit disappointed with this city), moved to Antibes and Juan-les-Pins, visited Cannes, Saint-Tropez and ended with some lovely villages: Villefranche-sur-mer, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat (a must-see) and Théoule-sur-mer. We spent 7 days on the French roads but I wish I could have stayed longer as there's still so much more to see. I really hope I can come back in the near future!

BUCKET BAG

I've been looking for the perfect bucket bag for months now but I still haven't found the perfect one. Well, actually I've found it... In Athens during my holidays in June - that was the perfect leather bucket bag (very similar with the one above) but I couldn't buy it as I only had a cabin bag with me and didn't have enough space for it.
I'll keep searching for the perfect model (for a nice price by the way) so feel free to share suggestions and don't forget to let me know if you ever go to Athens!
