TRAVELS - AMSTERDAM
It's been already 3 weeks since we went to Amsterdam but I still have this city in my head. It's such a lovely place full of culture and history, I could definitely live there.
Before the trip, we planned to visit some museums but the weather was so good that we decided to walk and discover the city since we were only there for 3 days.
On the first day, we took a Sandemans guided free tour (recommended by my sweet Silvia) to have a brief overview of the city... We loved the experience so much that we booked another one for the day after to visit the red light district by night.
I also wanted to visit Anne Frank House on that day but the line was so huuuuge that we quickly gave up on it (I will never come back during Easter!) but I still hope to visit it some day!

The below picture was taken at Bakers & Roasters, the perfect place to have a yummy brunch. I heard so much about that place before our trip that I had to go there, everything is so mouth-watering!
We have also tried Jamie Oliver's finest restaurant - Fifteen (picture above) - the food there was a true delight but the service was (unfortunately) very poor!
On the last day, we went to the Foodhallen - an indoor food market located in Amsterdam Oud-West - I found it on the web when I was searching for off the beaten track places to go and we really enjoyed it!
I couldn't finish without saying that we did a lovely canal cruise in the Amstel (make sure to book it in advance)... I know that this might sound like a tourist trap but it's definitely a must do when you visit Amsterdam. ♡

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!
One year ago, I was having a blast in London with two persons I love: my best friend and my boyfriend... This year things are slightly different, I will be pretty busy at the office. Not the best birthday, but at least I will have a dinner with some friends and family in the evening and the best part: I'll be soon off to Paris for a long weekend.

BY THE WATERFALLS
They say a Sunday well spent brings a week of content, that's why I always try to make the best of every Sunday especially when it's sunny outside...
These pictures were taken last weekend by the waterfalls at Mon Repos park, there's no better place to choose when it's warm and sunny in Lausanne. This is one of my favorite places in town, you should give it a try if you ever come here!

THE DREAM CLOSET
If you live in a small apartment like me and love fashion as much as I do, I'm sure we share the same problem - lack of space! I lost count of how many times I came across pictures of amazing closets and dreamed about having one just for me to keep things organized the way I wanted and avoid losing time in the morning when searching for that bag I haven't been using for months.
Pinterest, Blogs and Tumblrs are great when you need some inspiration
(you might recognize some of these closets as they belong to famous bloggers) but you can also inspire yourself by looking at home design and decoration websites like Homify where you can find interesting design ideas to start building your dream closet!

FASHIONABLY WRONG - BABY HAIRS
Baby hairs can be very annoying for some, especially when you're trying to tie back your hair, but they have also become a trend. You probably already noticed that they are everywhere, from the catwalk (Givenchy, DKNY...) to the music industry (FKA Twigs, Katy Perry, Rita Ora...).
I honestly don't like them, unless it has a very natural touch (last picture). What's your opinion about it? Would you dare showing these small wispy hairs?
